Green Design

I believe that good design should incorporate sustainable resources as much as possible. There are a growing number of resources for products for the home that promote a healthier and more energy efficient home and are much gentler on our planet.  I have great local resources for reclaimed and recycled products. Many of my fabric suppliers are adding products made from renewable resources. Kravet Fabrics has added a line of fabrics and rugs made from bamboo.They are soft and luxurious and beautiful.  When shopping for green products look for certifications such as LEED , USGBC, and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and buy local as much as possible.

I recognize the increasing concerns associated with the environment and the worldwide production of goods. I strive to be more mindful of the environment and I search for the newest developments in eco-friendly living. I'm always interested in new, safe, eco-friendly products and fabric made the responsible way, to help decorate your living space.
